About The Position
The Manager ensures high-quality, patient-centered care by overseeing the unit or department’s daily operations and staffing. The Manager monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives. The role offers opportunities to influence patient care through collaborative relationships with the direct manager and through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives, helping shape decisions that support patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (listed as Advanced Cardiac Life Spt).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (RN).
- Registered Nurse.
- Registered Nurse Diploma.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall daily function and staffing of the unit or department.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
