Manager Cardiac Cath Lab
About The Position
The Manager Cardiac Cath Lab maintains proficiency in the technical duties involved in diagnostic and interventional procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Center. The role assists the director by supporting clinical staff and physicians to help ensure smooth daily operations. The manager is responsible for the quality of care provided in accordance with the organization’s philosophy, goals, and objectives, and provides leadership and management to staff in implementing departmental processes. The role participates in and materially influences staff selection, development, discipline, and evaluation. It is also responsible for the daily flow of procedures in the Cath/EP Lab, IOU, and Nuclear Cardiology departments.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer (RT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred; a minimum of five years of relevant clinical and/or material experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
