About The Position
This position is for a Cafeteria Manager II. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and practical experience in food preparation and service for large groups. Specific coursework in Brevard School Food Services, Equipment Use and Care, Quantity Food Preparation, Organization and Management, and Nutrition is also required. A valid Florida Driver's License and an Accredited Food Protection Manager Certification are mandatory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Practical experience in the preparation and service of foods to large groups of people.
- Successful completion of Introduction to Brevard School Food Services course.
- Successful completion of Equipment Use and Care course.
- Successful completion of Quantity Food Preparation course.
- Successful completion of Organization and Management course.
- Successful completion of Nutrition course (must be completed within one year of appointment to position).
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Accredited Food Protection Manager Certification (must be completed within one year of appointment to position).
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
