About The Position

HealthEdge is experiencing rapid growth and consolidation following recent mergers. To support this scaling, we need a function to maintain our systems, ensuring they are healthy, scalable, and genuinely useful. We are hiring a Manager to lead our HR and Internal tooling initiatives. This is a hands-on management role with significant technical depth. You will be responsible for the systems powering our HR and internal operations, primarily Workday, along with its integrations to payroll, benefits, identity, and finance. You will manage a team of business systems analysts, collaborate closely with HR leadership, and establish operational standards for the team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in building in evolving environments, are enthusiastic about leveraging AI to transform team operations, and possess the skills to maintain complex systems while driving them forward.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of direct experience owning enterprise systems, with a strong focus on Workday, including configuration, integrations, data integrity, and end-user support.
  • 4+ years of experience managing a technical team, with a passion for coaching, developing, and holding the team accountable while contributing to complex work.
  • Exceptional stakeholder partnership skills, including building trust with senior leaders, facilitating requirements conversations, and bringing the right people together.
  • Demonstrated experience weaving AI into work processes and readiness to set this standard for a team and the business.
  • Understanding of how HR and people systems support the business, including Workday HCM, integrations, and HRIS architecture.
  • Experience with iPaaS or integration middleware tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato), including building and maintaining integration layers.
  • Ability to identify overly complex processes and develop simple, scalable alternatives.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and thriving in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
  • Experience with post-merger systems consolidation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the People & Internal Systems function, including Workday and over 30 integrations, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of business systems analysts, focusing on coaching, development, and accountability.
  • Develop deep partnerships with HR leadership, HRIS lead, and HR operations to understand needs, translate them into systems strategy, and solve problems.
  • Drive delivery accountability by scoping, prioritizing, tracking, and closing work.
  • Coordinate across stakeholders to manage risk and keep system integration post-merger on track.
  • Implement an AI-first approach to accelerate discovery, documentation, root cause analysis, and testing.
  • Communicate project status, flag risks, and identify areas where support is needed to leadership.
  • Ensure systems are healthy, scalable, and useful for daily operations.
