Manager, Business Optimization (Global Logistics)
About The Position
Profit Recovery Partners (PRP) is seeking a Manager, Business Optimization for their Global Logistics team. This role is fully onsite at the Santa Ana office. The ideal candidate is a motivated, out-of-the-box thinker who can develop solutions for large enterprise clients, identify savings based on infrastructure, vendor contracts, and pricing schedules, and provide comprehensive cost-saving solutions. The role requires a proven leader with experience managing teams, their workloads, and professional development. The Manager will drive results and growth, achieve client credibility as a subject matter expert, solve advanced problems in complex situations, negotiate with vendor partners on behalf of clients, and lead a small team of direct reports. This position also contributes to P&L management and requires an understanding of industry trends.
Requirements
- Strong experience with analysis of data through MS Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of vendor management, analyst, and/or consulting experience
- Experience leading teams
- Ability to use project management software to manage deliverables such as SmartSheet and Project Management CRM strategies

- Work directly with vendor partners to negotiate best-in-class win-win agreements on behalf of clients
- Lead a small team of direct reports responsible for their own projects from start to finish and assisting with analysis, work product creation and client presentation support
- Contributes to P&L management
- Utilize creative thinking in creating solutions for large enterprise clients
- Understand industry trends within your area(s) of expertise
