About The Position

Adeptus Advisors Group, LLC, a growing full-service CPA and Business Management firm with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Maryland, White Plains, and California, is seeking a Manager to support our Los Angeles Business Management practice. We are a tight-knit team that specializes in music business management, with a clientele consisting mainly of touring artists, producers, songwriters, and independent labels. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience supporting clients such as touring musicians, music producers, songwriters, and other creative talent. The ideal candidate brings both strategic oversight and hands-on accounting skills, with a client-service mindset and deep industry knowledge. The Manager serves as the most hands-on day-to-day team member within the Business Management department, overseeing the full financial life cycle for a roster of clients in the music and touring industry. This role requires tax experience and, critically, direct experience working within the music/touring industry. The Manager acts as the central point of coordination — tracking financial activity, supervising associates, managing client relationships, and serving as the primary liaison between the tax team and clients. This is a high-visibility, high-responsibility role suited to a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage competing priorities, exercise sound financial judgment, and communicate effectively with clients, their teams, and internal staff.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business management, or a related field
  • Prior experience in the music and/or touring industry
  • Experience in tax matters, including quarterly estimates and return coordination
