About The Position

Taxbit is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead, develop, and scale its BDR team to drive pipeline generation via outbound channels. This role is critical to Taxbit's growth as global tax information reporting requirements expand across jurisdictions, products, and customer segments globally. The BDR Manager will own the performance, coaching, and career development of the BDR team, while partnering closely with Account Executives and Sales leadership to build a predictable, high-quality pipeline engine. This role involves building repeatable systems and processes in HubSpot and Unify, using AI to enhance team efficiency, and creating a clear path for BDRs to grow into Account Executives. It is an ideal role for an intellectually curious, systems-minded sales leader who enjoys developing people and wants to shape how a high-growth team goes to market with leading crypto, fintech, and marketplace companies.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in sales or business development in enterprise B2B SaaS, including 1–2+ years managing or leading a BDR/SDR team
  • Background in fintech, crypto, payments, marketplaces, or regulated SaaS highly preferred
  • Proven track record of building pipeline and coaching BDRs to meet and exceed targets
  • Demonstrated success developing and promoting BDRs into Account Executive roles
  • Strong experience with HubSpot and outbound tooling such as Unify, with a passion for building repeatable, scalable systems and processes
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve sales efficiency and outreach quality
  • Strong training and enablement skills, with experience coaching reps on discovery calls and demos
  • Deep understanding of the partnership between BDR and Account Executive teams and what drives high-quality pipeline
  • Intellectual horsepower and a high level of curiosity, with a willingness to learn complex industries, products, and regulatory environments
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of BDRs, setting clear goals, activity and pipeline targets, and performance expectations
  • Hire, onboard, and ramp new BDRs, building a scalable onboarding program that shortens time to productivity
  • Own training and sales enablement for the BDR team, including messaging, objection handling, account research, and Taxbit's platform and regulatory landscape
  • Mentor BDRs in running discovery calls and demos with prospects, building the skills needed to progress into Account Executive roles
  • Build and maintain a structured career path and development plan that prepares high-performing BDRs for promotion to Account Executive
  • Partner closely with Account Executives and Sales leadership on account prioritization, territory alignment, meeting quality, and handoff processes
  • Guide the team through the nuances of multi-threaded outreach across tax, finance, and product stakeholders to generate qualified pipeline
  • Design, document, and continuously improve repeatable prospecting systems and workflows in HubSpot and Unify, ensuring data accuracy and process consistency
  • Identify inefficiencies in sales systems and processes and implement improvements that increase team productivity and pipeline conversion
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline account research, personalization, sequencing, and reporting across the BDR function
  • Track and analyze team and individual performance metrics, using data to inform coaching, forecasting, and strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps on campaigns, lead routing, events, and partner-driven pipeline
  • Continuously test and refine messaging, outreach strategies, and cadences based on performance and market feedback
