Manager, Brand Activations
About The Position

We leverage deep INSIGHTS and our network of seasoned & creative team members to create IMPACT between properties, fans & brands. MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic Manager to join the Brand Activations team in ensuring the execution of client projects by providing support and ongoing communications on the projects, and building exciting and positive consumer experiences for our clients. You will report to the Director, Brand Activations.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing or other related field of study.
- 3+ years of experience in event management and execution.
- Can speak with and present to important partners.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends and outdoors in a Canadian climate.
- Must be willing to travel and have a valid Ontario drivers license.
Nice To Haves
- Degree/certificate in Sports Management/Marketing would be considered a valuable asset.
- Brand ambassador work is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful execution of client projects by working with your team and adhering to the project management process, from brainstorming to execution and post event reporting.
- Set priorities and work on multiple projects that are at different stages.
- Communicate with a variety of external suppliers to secure the best assets for our clients and inform our project planning.
- Create project estimates, submit expenses and invoices, ensure project remains on budget, record costs and flag any discrepancies, reconciliations.
- Challenge the status quo and have your ideas and voice stand out.
- Think on your feet and work tirelessly to find a solution while keeping the best interests of our company, our team, and our clients first and foremost.
- Be a team player with dedication, enthusiasm and agility, always ready to lend a hand and support one another.
