The Technology Division creates digital experiences and delivers information technology services to the National Geographic Society. This position is responsible for managing the technical delivery of audio and video services for internal conference rooms and meeting spaces utilized by staff within the National Geographic Society headquarters. This includes maintaining the audiovisual systems and operating audio and video services for internal staff and board meetings. This position will lead short term and long-term projects and take ownership of AV-related incident tickets and service requests and work with customers and colleagues for resolution/fulfillment. Additionally, the position may participate in on-call and other shift rotations during non-business hours to provide audiovisual support. Additional management responsibilities include oversight of maintenance contracts and vendor relationships, resource scheduling, asset management and change management for enterprise audiovisual technology environments including conference rooms and other staff workspaces. Additional hands-on work includes configuration of video conferencing technology, and lifecycle management of all technical systems contained within.
