As a Manager and Head of BU2 NA Customer Quality/Warranty reporting to the Head of Quality – BU2, you will be responsible to manage BU2 NA region Warranty management systems, including evaluation of product field performance, customer warranty debits, product field/warranty cost improvement and customer warranty interface. Coordination with Plants and Engineering on field issue resolution and improvement. Management of the Significant Quality Issue/Top Quality Issue for BU2 NA. This role is responsible to: Manage product field performance (warranty) issues. Review of customer debits for approval or dispute. Continuous improvement of warranty systems and product field performance. Provide field failure prevention input to Product Engineering and Process Planning. Negotiate warranty debits and technical factors with Customers. Review new or updated Customer Warranty Agreements and escalate when terms are not acceptable to MAHLE. Manage multiple high profile, high-cost potential issues simultaneously. Provide logical and data-based problem solving of warranty/field issues. Coordinate with Plants, Process Engineering and Product Engineering on timely root cause analysis and corrective action for field issues. Drive fast actions to minimize financial impact of field issues to MAHLE and our Customers.
