This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory audit requirements, tax compliance obligations, and transfer pricing regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Ind AS, along with extensive experience managing financial statement audits, statutory reporting, tax return compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting, audit, statutory reporting, or tax compliance experience with a minimum 3 years of management experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience supporting multinational organizations with global statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with corporate tax compliance and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Big Four public accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations and transfer pricing frameworks.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or NetSuite.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, or entity integrations, projects.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with: US GAAP, IFRS, FRS (UK GAAP), Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Coordinate statutory reporting requirements with local finance teams and external advisors.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and assess business impacts.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and accounting matters.
  • Support implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
  • Lead all external financial statement and statutory audits globally.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory auditors.
  • Develop audit calendars and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
  • Coordinate preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and management representations.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of: Corporate income tax returns, Indirect tax returns (VAT, GST, Sales Tax), Withholding tax filings, Other statutory tax filings.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams to ensure timely compliance.
  • Support tax audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Partner with tax advisors to ensure arm's-length pricing methodologies are documented and supported.
