About The Position

This analyst position will support the accounting and finance team with responsibilities focused on labor charging compliance, timekeeping reconciliation, charge code mapping, and project/account assignment reviews in accordance with DCAA requirements. This role maintains accurate time charge structures, verifies cost allowability, ensures proper mapping of corporate credit card transactions, and supports monthly close activities through detailed reconciliation of Costpoint data.

Requirements

  • Must be U.S. citizen with no restrictions on working for a federal contractor
  • Experience in one or more of the following: AR, AP, general ledger accounting, payroll, financial reporting or other similar experience required
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 3 years of professional accounting experience minimum
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize / meet multiple competing deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a multi-cultural team environment and support internal customers

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Korean (business/professional) preferred in order to communicate and interact with Korean parent company.
  • Deltek Costpoint and Cognos experience a plus
  • Experience working at a federal contractor or in aerospace/defense industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze employee time charge codes to ensure proper mapping to Costpoint projects and accounts in accordance with DCAA and FAR regulations.
  • Maintain and validate time charge code structures for employees across multiple projects and labor categories.
  • Perform time sheet reconciliation in Costpoint, identifying mismatches, errors, or noncompliant charges and resolving issues promptly.
  • Review and approve employee labor charges and project assignments as part of internal compliance controls.
  • Validate the alignment of project codes, labor categories, charge codes, and accounting structures within Costpoint.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure project setup, labor categories, and cost allowability meet DCAA requirements.
  • Maintain internal charge code authorization documentation and assist with employee charge code updates.
  • Review corporate credit card transactions to ensure proper mapping to accounting GL accounts and project codes.
  • Verify allowability of charges under DCAA cost principles and escalate any questionable items.
  • Approve or route corporate card expenses for final approval after validation of charge mappings.
  • Enter transactions into Costpoint including AP vouchers, payroll vouchers, credit card expense vouchers, cash disbursements, and journal entries as needed.
  • Prepare labor reconciliation supporting schedules for monthly close & assist with project financial reporting and analysis related to labor charges and timekeeping compliance.
  • Assist in preparing approval packages including Payment Request Forms, Expense Reimbursement Forms, and Credit Card Expense Forms.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to review project profitability, labor efficiency, and cost drivers, ensuring data accuracy for management reporting.
  • Support forecasting activities by providing updated labor utilization data, charge code assignments, and Costpoint project metrics.
