About The Position
An integral role within the Accounting department for MASI. The responsibilities will involve Month-end and year-end close, reporting packages. Inventory analysis, and participation in multiple audits. Management of internal controls and policies while working cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA or CPA
- 5-6 years of experience
- Team player who can work and communicate with all levels of employees
- Experience with Excel, Word, PPT, ERP
Responsibilities
- Manage staff of 2
- Oversee and report on large projects and accounts for the commercial business with visibility to the leadership team. Creating a consistent flow to create transparency and collaboration.
- Facilitate month end close and annual audits
- Identify, create, and maintain internal controls
- Supporting AR, AR, and Vancouver accounting teams
