About The Position

SunWorks Landscape Partners is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its Management Development Program. Participants work at the center of branch operations and gain exposure to sales, operations management, financial analysis, and the landscaping industry. The program is a six-month rotation across the enhancement, irrigation, agronomy, and arbor departments, with hands-on experience in operations, project finance, account management, and sales. It is designed to prepare participants for a client-facing management position and, after six months, a transition into an account manager or business development position. Participants are full-time employees and receive full benefits.

Requirements

0–1 years of experience in operations, business development, or field management.
Excellent communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Willingness to work onsite.

Nice To Haves

A major in agriculture, horticulture, or landscape design/architecture is preferred but not required.
Conversational Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

Shadow SunWorks account and production managers, developing skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training.
Build and nurture strong client relationships through proactive communication.
Provide excellent customer service by educating clients on horticultural best practices, recommending property enhancements, and proactively correcting problems.
Assist with leading a team of 12–25 employees organized into 3–5 landscape maintenance crews.
Assist with managing daily operations to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborate with the enhancement, irrigation, agronomy, and arbor care divisions to ensure seamless delivery of services to customers in the participant’s portfolio.
Participate in SunWorks training sessions to develop industry and company knowledge and professional relationships with senior leadership.
