About The Position

Sabre Systems is seeking a Senior Management Consultant to support a U.S. Navy customer. This role is part of a program focused on readiness and sustainment, aiming to enhance operational availability and mission effectiveness while managing costs and optimizing resources. The program utilizes collaborative, data-driven operating models that encompass end-to-end readiness ecosystems, including operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management. The solution incorporates AI-enabled approaches to improve the speed, scale, and consistency of analysis and decision support. Key activities involve producing readiness assessments and decision-support products, establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting, and integrating data from various authoritative and legacy sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques, such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing of maintenance narratives, are employed to identify readiness drivers and constraints, enhance predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions that balance near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience (Six years of additional related work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree)
  • Fifteen (15) years of related experience, with twelve (12) years of direct experience in Communications, including generating written/oral forms of communication and all forms of media (social media included)
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Navy/Marine Corps Flag/General Officer and/or Executive Level DoD government civilian (O7-O9, SES)
  • Additional corporate management experience working with the manning, training and equipment functions within Naval Aviation
  • Superior knowledge of readiness and sustainment metrics

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic direction, vision, and mission for the program
  • Provide insight and advice concerning strategic direction and applicability of up to date, industry standard practices
  • Develop high-level vision with the program/project manager and senior client leadership to influence objectives of complex efforts
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations
  • Design systems and procedures
  • Conduct work simplification and measurement studies
  • Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively
