About The Position

This position supports a wide range of project management, planning, and analytical functions in alignment with organizational goals and strategic direction. The role involves assisting with budget planning and execution, managing procurement processes, supporting technical training, and contributing to the development and management of project management environments. The analyst will also review project management tools and practices to recommend improvements and communicate findings through written reports and oral presentations. An understanding of organizational structures, intergovernmental relationships, and internal culture is necessary.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
  • Three (3) years of experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of various software and systems including ERP, IBPES, SharePoint, Confluence/Jira, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project or comparable project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support Integrated Budget Planning and Execution System (IBPES) subtask planning.
  • Support the monthly Network and Activity (NWA) assignment process.
  • Assist with procurement management, including gathering quotes, submitting IBPES requests, and maintaining procurement tracking tools.
  • Attend technical meetings and prepare detailed meeting minutes.
  • Review contractor and On Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC) trip reports for proper formatting and distribution.
  • Support technical training management by assessing team capabilities, identifying training needs, researching training opportunities, and tracking completion.
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and ongoing management of the Confluence/Jira project management environment.
  • Assist in updating project goals to ensure alignment with evolving command-level strategic plans.
  • Review project management tools and practices to recommend improvements.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information to define problems, evaluate relevant data, and develop actionable recommendations for the Government.
  • Communicate findings through written reports and oral presentations.
