Requirements

  • Ability to perform non‑routine assignments requiring adaptation of engineering or analytical methods.
  • Experience working with engineering data, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to conduct tests or experiments, adapt equipment or procedures, and analyze technical results.
  • Knowledge of conventional engineering or analytical practices related to design, testing, and reporting.
  • Ability to construct prototypes or experimental models and evaluate test outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to identify issues requiring escalation to engineers or supervisors.
  • Ability to collaborate with professionals and provide guidance to lower‑level technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Perform non‑routine analytical or technical assignments requiring judgment and adaptation of established methods.
  • Select, interpret, and apply operational precedents where they are not fully applicable to the assignment.
  • Develop or review engineering‑related designs by extracting and analyzing a variety of technical data.
  • Apply conventional engineering principles and practices to develop, prepare, or recommend schematics, designs, specifications, electrical drawings, and parts lists.
  • Support design tasks such as: Detailed circuit diagram development, Hardware fittings or test equipment design involving multiple mechanisms, Conventional piping system layouts, Building site or facility layout planning.
  • Conduct tests or experiments requiring adaptation or modification of critical test equipment and procedures.
  • Set up and operate test or analytical equipment; record data, document problems of significant complexity, and identify issues requiring higher‑level review.
  • Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
  • Contribute to research and development (R&D) efforts by performing limited segments of larger projects following established methodologies.
  • Construct experimental or prototype models based on engineering requirements.
  • Conduct testing, perform redesigns when necessary, evaluate results, and document findings.
  • Provide support or direction to lower‑level technicians, as assigned.
  • Maintain frequent communication with engineers and other professionals to support project goals.
