This position is within the Department of Grants and Community Development. The Management Analyst II will manage a variety of federally funded contracts, maintain knowledge of grant program policies, underwrite federal subsidies, and provide risk analysis, project management, and oversight for contracts. The role involves assisting with legislation preparation, completing HUD training, monitoring sub-recipients, and providing technical assistance. Additionally, the analyst will assist with performance reports, the NOFA/evaluation process, and monitoring sub-recipients via various federal systems. The position also involves tracking and managing projects with Financial Analysts, providing data for departmental reports, auditing portfolios, and maintaining knowledge of real estate documents. The analyst will negotiate and prepare contracts, collect and analyze data for reporting, and recommend corrective actions. They will also perform project/task management for complex contracts and review projects for environmental compliance and applicable factors. Collaboration with all divisions of DGCD is expected. Senior Management Analysts will have additional duties related to specific grant utilizations and requirements.
