About The Position

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has an exceptional opportunity for growth as a Management Analyst 2 within the Bureau of Office Services. Within this role, you will work with dedicated teams who guide purchasing, procurement, and inventory efforts across the Commonwealth. Your efforts will help strengthen programs that keep daily operations running smoothly. This position supports statewide quality assurance, training and issue resolution activities related to purchasing, procurement, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct statewide assessments to improve procurement, purchasing card, and inventory management practices
  • Develop and assist in delivering training programs that strengthen statewide purchasing and inventory processes
  • Respond to and resolve statewide questions related to procurement, purchasing, and inventory management using subject matter knowledge
  • Analyze statewide data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in program areas
  • Collaborate with supervisors and experts to update and maintain guidance documents and procedures for agencywide use
  • Provide timely and professional support to agency staff while helping to ensure consistency and compliance in statewide practices
