About The Position

The Bureau of Financial Operations is looking for a Management Analyst 2 to support key billing and reimbursement work for facilities across the state. This role involves reviewing system data, fixing reporting issues, and improving tools that support mental health and intellectual disability services. The position focuses on improving and supporting systems used in billing, reimbursement, and technical operations across Commonwealth facilities. You will help identify issues, test system changes, and assist staff statewide.

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze electronic data processing programs and respond to technical requests to maintain smooth billing operations.
  • Conduct testing on systems and recommend needed revisions or additions.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and install hardware systems when needed.
  • Prepare instructions and training materials and lead training sessions for reimbursement office personnel.
  • Survey staff to gather information, identify process issues, and propose ways to improve efficiency.
  • Post deposits to SAP, manage related documentation, and generate daily financial records.
