About The Position

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is a social and human services agency whose mission is to successfully partner with families, caregivers, and the community to strengthen families, ensure safety, and achieve permanency for all Arizona’s children through prevention, services, and support. Join our team as a Systems Analyst supporting a statewide Learning Management System (LMS). In this role, you’ll help ensure efficient system operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with training requirements across the organization.

Requirements

  • One year of management analysis experience; OR three years of experience in learning management systems and/or database applications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in learning management systems and/or database applications will substitute for one or two years of the required experience respectively, but will not substitute for the management analysis experience.
  • The ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.
  • Driver’s License Requirements.
  • Must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the agency’s LMS to support training and compliance needs
  • Maintain system standards, including course structure, naming conventions, and user access
  • Develop and update procedures, documentation, and internal controls
  • Analyze system changes and recommend effective solutions
  • Produce and validate reports to support leadership, program areas, and external partners
  • Monitor system performance to ensure compliance with policies and requirements
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues to maintain reliable records
  • Serve as the primary LMS point of contact for internal teams and external partners
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and support users statewide
  • Lead or assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Provide guidance and training on LMS functionality and compliance processes
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Track and resolve system issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of training records for staff and providers
