About The Position

The Investments Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative investment solutions that support the firm's Retail managed accounts offerings. This role sits at the intersection of product management, investment management, advisor and client experience, and technology, ensuring that solutions support scalable growth, meet regulatory standards, and deliver a best-in-class experience to advisors and investors. A defining aspect of this role is leading the expansion of the managed accounts platform to support next-generation investment solutions — including Alternative Investments, Direct Indexing, and Income Solutions — and managing the operational and technical integrations necessary to bring these capabilities to life. This includes overseeing the firm's integration with third party platforms as a critical enabler of scalable access within managed accounts.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in wealth management, asset management, or financial services with a meaningful focus on managed accounts
  • A strong understanding of alternative investments structures and experience with third party platform integration
  • Experience with Direct Indexing and Income Solution design
  • Demonstrated experience working across technology, operations, compliance, and distribution teams to bring new investment capabilities to market at scale
  • FINRA Registrations: SRC Indicator: NRF
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of new investment solutions, ensuring they are thoughtfully structured, operationally scalable, and aligned to client and advisor needs.
  • Define the investment solution framework, establish eligibility and qualification criteria, partner with internal investment teams and external managers, and oversee the build-out of supporting infrastructure.
  • Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape to identify emerging investment solution opportunities and maintain a pipeline of future capabilities.
  • Define and execute a long-term product and platform vision that prioritizes the integration of new investment solutions alongside supporting firm growth, regulatory alignment, and evolving client and advisor needs.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking regularly to assess how the firm's investment solutions compare to peer offerings across advisory programs, fee structures, and available solution types.
  • Develop a growth strategy centered on new investment solution adoption, leveraging training, digital engagement, and advisor education to drive meaningful utilization across the platform.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure all investment solutions, products, and workflows comply with firm policies, FINRA and SEC requirements, and ERISA and retirement plan regulations.
  • Oversee disclosures, suitability frameworks, offering documents, and supervisory procedures, and serve as the primary subject matter expert for internal and external inquiries, audits, and supervision requests.
  • Maintain committee oversight to ensure investment agreements are upheld in accordance with policy.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials, product guides, and sales support resources to help advisors understand investment solution structures, liquidity profiles, risk considerations, and portfolio construction implications.
  • Partner with distribution and marketing to create content that builds advisor confidence and drives meaningful adoption of new solutions across the platform.
  • Collaborate across technology, operations, platform partners, internal investment teams, marketing, and distribution to deliver new investment solutions, program enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for managed programs and investment solutions across the organization, providing guidance and thought leadership as the platform evolves to include more sophisticated solution types.
