The main task of the labourer is to provide general support to operations as well as to accomplish various tasks, particularly to assist plant operations and to carry out various tasks ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the plant. This versatile position aims to promote access to stable and motivating employment for any resourceful, motivated candidate who likes challenges.

Requirements

Secondary 5 diploma desired.
No experience required.
Resourcefulness and ability to work in a non-routine environment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Be in good physical condition.
Enjoy working outdoors.
Adhere to all safety protocols and appropriate use of Amrize-approved personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Responsibilities

Assist plant operations with general daily support.
Ensure the handling and maintenance of the various areas of the yard and the entire plant.
Accomplish various tasks ensuring the cleanliness of the plant.
Take on increasingly important mandates based on knowledge, motivation, and involvement.
Work effectively within a dynamic team.
