About The Position

A Mammography Technologist in the Breast Center performs screening mammograms and provides exceptional patient care. This is a full-time, day-shift position. The posted hourly pay range is $48.95 to $73.43, and the position is eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Completion before the start date of didactic training that includes 40 initial mammography education hours and 8 hours of digital breast tomography.
• Washington State registration as a Radiology Technologist (RT).
• Healthcare provider CPR certification.
• Complete 24 CME credits every two years, including 5 specifically for mammography.
• Document 100 mammograms per year, except for new graduates or newly certified mammography technologists.

Nice To Haves

• One year of previous screening mammography experience is preferred.
• ARRT (M) certification is preferred on the date of hire. New graduates are allowed up to 6 months to obtain ARRT (M) certification.
