About The Position
Overlake Breast Health Center has an opportunity for a Mammography Technologist with exceptional patient care skills, who will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms as well as assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures. Procedures include pre-surgery guidewire localization, ductograms, stereotactic biopsies and ultrasound guided procedures. This full time position will have variable day shift hours with occasional Saturday shifts.
Requirements
- AA from an accredited radiology program is required, else equivalent related experience.
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Registered with WA State required
- Healthcare provider CPR required
- For Mammography Technologist II: ARRT (M) Mammography Certification is required.
- For Mammography Technologist II: Two years previous diagnostic/procedural mammography experience mandatory.
Nice To Haves
- ARRT (M) Mammography Certification preferred on date of hire.
- New graduates will be allowed up to 4 months to obtain ARRT (M) certification.
- One year previous screening mammography experience preferred
- Ultrasound experience preferred.
