About The Position

Lumexa Imaging is seeking a Mammography Technologist or an X-Ray Technologist interested in cross training into Mammography at their Mesquite, TX facility. This role is part of the Technologist Training Academy (TAA) program, which offers a pathway to becoming a Mammography Technologist. The program provides all expenses-paid learning, structured training with third-party resources, one-on-one work with an assigned trainer, and a wage increase upon passing the registry. The opportunity is for registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologists, as well as current students with a desire to pursue a career in Mammography. Lumexa Imaging is a large provider of outpatient medical imaging with over 185 centers across 13 states, conducting over 4 million outpatient studies annually.

Requirements

• Must be ARRT Registered in Radiography (R) or Mammography.
• BLS certification
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Technologist Training Academy (TAA) program.
• Undergo structured training to become a Mammography Technologist.
• Work one-on-one with an assigned trainer.
• Prepare for and pass the Mammography registry exam.
• Provide comfort and support to patients.
• Conduct diagnostic imaging studies as a trained Mammography Technologist.
