The Legacy Good Samaritan Breast Health Center's Mammography Technologist plays an integral role on a multi-disciplinary team that includes specialized nurses, ultrasound technologists and breast health-dedicated radiologists. Requirements

  • Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
  • At least one-year previous experience in General Radiology. Mammography experience preferred. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
  • Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
  • Must meet MQSA requirements for mammographers.
  • A.R.R.T. registration in Radiology and Mammography required.

Nice To Haves

  • Mammography experience preferred.
  • Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
  • An interest in learning more in this area or bringing your experience with interventional breast procedures is welcomed by our team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs mammography procedures according to physician's orders, or screening guidelines, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient care.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the field of Mammography.
