About The Position
MercyOne Genesis is hiring a Mammography Tech to provide specialized diagnostic and screening imaging services and care to patients during diagnostic and screening procedures. The role is accountable for producing optimal images using various types of diagnostic equipment and for providing educational information about mammography and breast health. The schedule is 12 hours per week on the day shift.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year college program or equivalent experience.
- Iowa Permit to Practice.
- ARRT certification; certification in RT(M) must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- BLS.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized diagnostic and screening imaging services and care to patients during diagnostic and screening procedures.
- Produce optimal images using various types of diagnostic equipment.
- Provide educational information about mammography and breast health.
