About The Position

As a Mammography Tech at Henry Ford Health, you will perform radiologic breast imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to support the evaluation of pathological entities ordered by physicians. The role also includes general x-ray work. You will use independent judgment to select appropriate radiographic techniques and position patients, while following department protocols and safety practices. The position requires compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) criteria and other regulatory requirements, as well as completion of required continuing medical education hours. The role is part of the Henry Ford Medical Group, a physician organization focused on coordinated care across primary and specialty practices. Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT (M), or eligibility for that registry. If registry eligible, obtain the registry within 12 months of hire.
Meet all MQSA criteria and other regulatory agency requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in mammography or breast imaging.
Familiarity with Henry Ford Health systems and protocols.
