About The Position

CFHC is seeking a dependable Radiologic & Mammography Technologist for a busy outpatient facility. The position primarily performs general radiography, DEXA, and mammography, depending on qualifications and applicable licensure. The ideal candidate can connect with patients, help them feel at ease, and make them feel valued. The role requires a commitment to quality imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care. The employee may also perform other related duties assigned by their supervisor.

Requirements

Current Mammography license with digital qualifications.
Current California Radiologic Technologist license.
Medi-Tech and PACS knowledge.
Current BLS certification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PACS, and general computer applications.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to quality imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care.
Ability to understand written and oral directions stated in radiologic and medical terms.

Responsibilities

Follow safe work procedures and immediately report unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor and/or Administration.
Operate X-ray equipment in the Radiology department and perform exams according to the radiology protocol book.
Provide care to people who may be under physical and/or emotional stress.
Maintain effective communication with Radiologists, the Chief Technologist, other departments, and outside agencies.
Maintain yearly licenses and certifications.
Assist with or perform mammography quality control procedures.
Maintain MQSA Standards and oversee mammography responsibilities.
Communicate with radiologists and follow the protocols they determine.
Communicate with ordering providers and staff regarding patient exams while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Perform mammographic, radiographic, and/or DEXA scans as necessary.
Perform other appropriate duties as required or assigned.
