Mammography Lead Technologist Days
About The Position
In collaboration with leadership, the Mammography Lead Technologist is responsible for the oversight of quality control duties for maintaining compliance with various regulatory agencies. This role assumes a leadership position within the department under the direction of a supervisor/manager. The Lead Technologist assists with staff scheduling, oversees day-to-day floor operations within Breast Care Services, and monitors customer and employee satisfaction results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. They also assist the manager with payroll duties as assigned, monitor and track education requirements for regulatory compliance, and may lead special projects assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in healthcare or related field.
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- 3 years of relevant clinical experience at staff mammography technologist level.
- ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R) certification Upon Hire.
- ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (M) certification Upon Hire.
- BLS required from American Heart Association or Red Cross Upon Hire.
