About The Position

Mammography Technologist in Mammography Unit at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour Day Shifts. Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Requirements

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification.
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience in Mammography.
  • Experience with MQSA standards.
