About The Position

Draycott Nursing & Care is seeking a Male Live In Carer to join their team. Established three decades ago, Draycott is a leader in the domiciliary care market, focusing on building lasting relationships with clients and local healthcare professionals. The company matches carers' skills and experience to clients' needs, which can range from physical and practical support to social and emotional care. As a live-in carer, you will reside with your client for the duration of your rota, with shifts typically ranging from 10-12 hours a day. Breaks are provided, and cover will be arranged if the client cannot be left alone during your break.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a mandatory requirement (or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service)
Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship

Responsibilities

Provide discreet and sensitive personal care, including catheter or stoma care
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and potentially feeding
Administer and manage medication
Perform light housekeeping duties
Assist clients with mobility
Offer companionship and emotional support
Communicate effectively with the client and build a strong, lasting relationship
Work closely with the wider Draycott Head Office support team to ensure optimal service for clients
Maintain accurate, factual written accounts of time with the client via the care management app
Be aware of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
Observe and follow Draycott Nursing’s Health and Safety policy
