About The Position

At Draycott Nursing & Care, a leader in Domiciliary care for three decades, we are seeking a Female Carer. This role involves providing personalized care in clients' homes across locations like Kensington and Chelsea, City of Westminster, Battersea, Fulham, Maida Vale, Mayfair, Lambeth, and Wandsworth. Carers will build strong relationships with clients, offering physical, practical, social, and emotional support tailored to individual needs and diagnoses. The position requires assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and managing care plans, all while working closely with the Head Office support team and adhering to health and safety policies. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, understanding, and respectful, aiming to empower clients to live independently.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 - 12 months’ professional care experience
Flexible availability
Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a mandatory requirement (or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service)
Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship

Responsibilities

Communicating effectively with the client and building a strong, lasting relationship
Working closely with the wider Draycott Head Office support team to ensure the best service for our clients
Keeping accurate, factual written accounts of your time with the client via our care management app
An awareness of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
Observing and following Draycott Nursing & Care’s Health and Safety policy
Assisting with personal care
Assisting with meal preparation & serving
Assisting with daily activities
Assisting with care plans
