About The Position

Draycott Nursing & Care, established three decades ago, is a leader in the Domiciliary care market, building excellent, lasting relationships with clients and local support units. The company matches carers’ schedules to clients’ needs, which can vary from physical and practical support to social and emotional care. Domiciliary care is provided in the client's home, where carers deliver care according to the client’s specific diagnosis and needs. As a carer, you will assist with day-to-day care, including personal care, meal preparation & serving, daily activities, and care plans, helping clients live independently in their own homes. A friendly, compassionate, understanding, and respectful approach is highly valued for this role.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 - 12 months’ professional care experience
Flexible availability
Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a mandatory requirement (or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service)
Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Experience in complex care would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Communicating effectively with the client and building a strong, lasting relationship
Working closely with the wider Draycott Head Office support team to ensure the best service for our clients
Keeping accurate, factual written accounts of your time with the client via our care management app
An awareness of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
Observing and following Draycott Nursing & Care’s Health and Safety policy
Help with the day-to-day care of our clients in their homes
Assisting with personal care
Meal preparation & serving
Daily activities
Care plans
