About The Position

Carowinds is seeking highly motivated & creative individuals to bring to life our scary and merry cast of characters. In this role you may apply or facilitate any of the following techniques: stage and show make up, latex makeup, prosthetics, airbrush, and other special FX makeup on a variety of skin types, mannequins, and/or masks. Availability must include some weeknights, weekends, evenings, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience with makeup application, theatrical makeup, prosthetics, and/or air brush

Responsibilities

Applying stage makeup, liquid latex, and other special FX makeup to talent
Learning, cleaning, & complying with safe and appropriate use of all chemicals, products, & equipment (such as air brush machines)
Working with leadership to maintain working condition of latex prosthetics and/or masks including maintenance and cleaning
Proactively setting up workspace for efficient daily makeup application
Other duties as assigned
