About The Position

Help bring our specialty show characters to life by using your beauty and SFX makeup talents. Do you have previous theatrical makeup experience and are looking to continue using your skills in an amusement park setting? Now is your chance to do just that by becoming a Makeup Technician with Dorney Park’s Live Entertainment Department. Requirements

• Creative mindset and artistic personality.
• Maintain hygienic standards
• Willing to work in other departments (costume shop, scenic, event operations)
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting within a team
• Candidates will be asked to supply a recent portfolio of their work
• People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Individuals with a passion and excitement about Dorney Park.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in one or more of the following cosmetology fields: beauty and/or SFX makeup, wig and/or foam latex mask application, removal and maintenance, either on a professional or amateur level.
• Airbrush experience preferred but not required
