About The Position

NORY is seeking a Maker Education Curriculum Developer (STEM for Age 3-12) who is passionate about creative hands-on engineering, design-thinking process, and mechatronics. The role involves designing learning experiences that inspire young minds and nurture Generation Alpha. NORY is described as the Disney World of STEM education, aiming to make each learning experience magical, impactful, and memorable.

Requirements

Passion for creative hands-on engineering, design-thinking process, and mechatronics.
Joy in designing learning experiences that inspire young minds.
Experience with children aged 3-12.
Ability to understand child developmental stages and interests.
Strong communication skills, especially video.
Visual portfolio of maker projects including woodworking, 3D printing, laser cutting, crafts, basic electronics (circuits, motors), Arduino, computing controllers and platforms (Raspberry Pi, Microbits), and coding tools like Scratch.
Understanding of the purpose behind inventions in the portfolio.

Nice To Haves

Coding skills, particularly for empowering older children to create advanced robotic projects.

Responsibilities

Design hands-on projects that ignite resilience, inquisitiveness, and empathy in children, focusing on Engineering & Digital Fabrication.
Weave multiple learning points into a seamless, interdisciplinary experience, showcasing intellectual curiosity.
Create thematic worlds with immersive storytelling, comparable to a Disney World ride.
Communicate vision to teachers across all NORY campuses using multi-channel communication, especially video, to ensure consistent delivery.
Apply understanding of child development for ages 3-12 to design age-appropriate and engaging content.
Train and coach teachers to effectively deliver the curriculum.
Develop advanced robotic projects for older children, potentially utilizing coding skills.
