About The Position

The Waste Pro Major Account Sales Executive will develop and maintain relationships with current assigned major client accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality of revenue and sales. Additionally, the Major Account Executive will identify, build relationships and sell to new industrial business accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience selling to large accounts or complex contracts; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective communication skills with customers.
  • Knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of general customer service philosophies.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret general business and sales reports.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Able to apply judgment in business situations.
  • Strong user skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, Teams and Tower.
  • Ability to travel within an assigned territory.
  • Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, driving, etc.) most of the work day.
  • Properly licensed with ability to drive a motor vehicle extensively within a defined sales area/territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Sell waste collection services to target prospects assigned major commercial and industrial business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with major customer accounts through periodic personal follow-up, proactive customer service, prompt attention and resolution to concerns or issues and timely contract updates. Manages on average 20-40 major customer accounts.
  • Administer and preserve all price initiatives.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations to by emphasizing saleable features to Increase revenue potential through selling additional services.
  • Retain existing major accounts through personal contact, proactive customer surveys and contract updates. Handle customer cancellation requests with priority and personal flow up.
  • Input and maintain Salesforce database on major customers throughout region and other sales data information within Tower.
  • Prepare sales contacts and renewals with price quotes, credit terms and services.
  • Manage major customer contracts, correspondence, pricing administration, etc.
  • Complete major account status reporting requirements accurately and timely
  • Achieve budget new sales, price increase, and major customer sales and retention goals.
  • Follow up on commitments with customers to ensure 100% satisfaction.
  • Execute the sales and overall goals of the Division as directed by management.
  • Attend major industry trade shows and other associations throughout the region.
  • Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
  • Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA.
  • Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
