About The Position

This position is responsible for responding to and attending to guest repair requests. The role involves fixing minor plumbing issues such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets. Additionally, the role performs miscellaneous minor repairs like tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. The position also includes performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, which involves cleaning and lubrication. Maintaining daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities is a key part of the role, as is communicating with guests/customers when necessary to resolve maintenance issues. The role requires adherence to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing safety training and certifications. Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets are also essential. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities. Speaking with others using clear and professional language, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees are expected. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards is also part of the role. Physical requirements include reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines is necessary. The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance is required. Moving up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders, and grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight are also part of the physical demands. The role may involve performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
