Part-Time Maintenance Worker
About The Position
We are currently hiring for a low-hour part-time maintenance position for programs in the Virginia/Eveleth area. This role is best suited for someone looking for side work. As a Maintenance Worker, you will provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes, ensuring compliance with licensing, code standards, and LSS safety standards. You will routinely inspect homes for needed repairs, perform ongoing maintenance of heating and AC systems, and service program vehicles. You will also assist with capital improvements to program properties as requested by the Program Director. A positive customer service attitude is expected in all duties.
Requirements
- Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, construction, and engine repair/maintenance.
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a Motor Vehicle Check.
- Successfully meet the requirements of a background check.
- Ability to read, write, and solve problems.
- Ability to accept and follow through with direction.
- Ability to suggest and implement strategies to enhance service.
Responsibilities
