Maintenance Worker
About The Position
This role involves performing daily inspections of all equipment operations, making adjustments or repairs as necessary. Responsibilities include inspecting heating equipment (boiler, fire and water sides, pumps, heating units during summer months), assisting with snow removal and grass mowing, performing sheetrock, taping, painting, tile work, grouting, and wallpapering. The position also requires assisting with snaking sewer lines, maintaining plumbing (toilets, sinks, water fountains), and assisting with electrical work and air conditioners. Wheelchair maintenance is also part of the duties.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in the maintenance field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of all equipment operations, adjusting or repairing where necessary.
- Inspect heating equipment, including boiler, fire and water sides, pumps, and heating units during summer months.
- Assist groundskeeper with snow removal and mowing of grass as needed.
- Perform sheetrock, taping, and painting of walls.
- Conduct tile work and grouting of walls and floors, and wallpapering.
- Assist in snaking out sewer lines and maintaining all plumbing, including toilets, sinks, and water fountains.
- Assist in the upkeep of all electrical work and air conditioners.
- Perform wheelchair maintenance as needed.
