About The Position

Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways. Conduct routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks. Clean windows and screens, and replace light bulbs in various fixtures, including those in high places. Service heating and cooling units/systems according to manufacturer specifications and established policies. Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed. Maintain the general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment. Foster a positive and calm atmosphere throughout the facility. Ensure maintenance supplies are replenished in work areas. Assist with lifting heavy equipment and supplies as directed. Perform other related duties as necessary or directed by a supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on facility and equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
Ability to clean windows and screens.
Ability to replace light bulbs in various fixtures and perform cleaning duties in high places.
Ability to service heating and cooling units/systems.
Ability to perform unscheduled maintenance tasks.

Ability to replenish maintenance supplies.
Ability to assist in lifting heavy equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways by cutting, trimming, policing, and sweeping.
Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
Clean windows and screens.
Replace burned out light bulbs in various fixtures, including exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, and room call lights.
Perform cleaning duties in very high places.
Service heating and cooling units/systems according to manufacturer specifications and established policies.
Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
Maintain the general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
Maintain a positive and calm atmosphere throughout the facility.
Ensure maintenance supplies are replenished in work areas.
Assist with lifting heavy equipment and supplies as directed or requested.
Perform other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
