About The Position
Community Mainstreaming is a non-profit human service agency committed to providing services to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead meaningful productive lives within their community. We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team! This is a full-time position with daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work required. The Maintenance Worker will assist in maintaining multiple residential group homes.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Vehicle for reliable transportation
- Must own basic tools
- General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical
- At least one year in the maintenance field
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Interior and exterior painting
- Sheetrock and spackle
- Maintaining facility grounds
- Moving and assembling furniture
- Conducting safety checks
