The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, clean, well-kept, healthy and adequately supplied environment for clients and staff; under the direction and supervision of the Facilities Director. This role actively involves conserving the physical assets of the facility, both administratively and residentially. The position requires reviewing and promptly responding to reports and recommendations from planning, regulating, and inspecting agencies as assigned by the Facilities Manager, and ensuring facility compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Maintenance Worker will monitor day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility, ensure the upkeep of all existing offices and client and staff areas, and monitor and report all contractor and vendor progress as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Additionally, the role requires protecting the privacy of all client information in accordance with GRNH, LLC’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principles of professionalism as a healthcare provider. Failure to comply with the company’s policies and procedures on client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. The incumbent may only access protected health information (PHI) and other patient information only to the extent that it is necessary to complete their job duties and may only share such information with those who have specific client information in their possession to complete their job responsibilities related to treatment, payment or other GRNH, LLC operations. The incumbent is expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding GRNH, LLC’s policies and procedures on client privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor. Other duties may be assigned.
