Part-Time Maintenance Worker
About The Position
We are currently hiring for a low-hour part-time maintenance position for programs in the Virginia/Eveleth area. This role is best suited for someone looking for side work. As a Maintenance Worker, you will provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes, ensuring they meet licensing and code standards, as well as LSS safety standards. Your responsibilities will include routinely inspecting homes for needed repairs, providing ongoing maintenance of heating and AC systems, maintaining and servicing program vehicles, and assisting with capital improvements to program properties as directed by the Program Director. You will perform all duties with a positive customer service attitude.
Requirements
- Basic skills in the areas of plumbing, electrical, construction and engine repair/maintenance.
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and a Motor Vehicle Check.
- Successfully meet the requirements of a background check.
- Ability to read, write and solve problems.
- Ability to accept/follow through with direction and suggest and implement strategies to enhance service.
