The Maintenance Worker performs preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under management supervision. This role involves assisting in the installation of new equipment, supporting special fabrication and construction projects, and following a preventative maintenance schedule. Responsibilities include machine repair and installation, such as replacing motors, rebuilding gear boxes, running threaded and welded piping, overhauling pumps, and replacing seals. The role also requires conducting daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment, diagnosing and replacing equipment parts, and repairing control circuits and VFD installations. Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety regulations are crucial. The position may also involve training Level 1 Maintenance personnel if the work is above Level 1.
