About The Position

Friendship Village, a 5-star Retirement Community and voted 2025 Employer of Choice Award in the Cedar Valley, is seeking a Maintenance Worker for the 2nd shift. This role involves working in beautiful buildings and assisting retired seniors with maintenance requests to fix, maintain, or add items in their homes. The job also includes helping to keep the buildings looking great, both inside and out. Friendship Village offers a great family environment and is looking for individuals handy with power tools and experienced in construction, lawn care, and/or snow removal.

Requirements

• Adequate transportation and driver's license
• Some weekend and holiday availability
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Applicants subject to pre-employment screening and testing

Responsibilities

• Work on maintenance requests to fix, maintain, or add items that our retired seniors need in their homes.
