About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment. This role involves conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues, responding to maintenance requests promptly, and troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. The technician will repair or replace defective parts using various tools, perform preventative maintenance on machinery, and collaborate with team members on projects. Accurate record-keeping using CMMS and ensuring compliance with safety regulations are also key aspects of the position. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Electrical Troubleshooting: The ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues is crucial.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s license with reliable transportation.
  • Flexible Hours with the ability to stay after scheduled shift or in emergency situations
  • Physical Ability: The ability to lift heavy materials, work in various environments, and perform manual tasks is often required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
  • Leadership and supervisory experience is desirable
