About The Position

This role is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all tennis facilities on the property. This includes daily tasks such as court maintenance, cleaning, and reporting issues, as well as assisting with events and other facility needs. The position also involves operating and maintaining specific equipment like the tennis cart roller and leaf blower, and general upkeep of the surrounding areas.

Requirements

Must have a current valid driver's license.
Knowledgeable with tools used around plumbing and carpentry.
Knows how to swim and be safe around water.
Must be able to lift up to 80lbs.
Must be able to have a flexible schedule.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or job-related experience preferred.
Good communication skills to offer directions to guests.

Responsibilities

Drag needles off clay courts and rake them into trash bags.
Water courts daily based on weather and temperature.
Roll courts.
Clean court lines.
Clean net tapes weekly.
Assist in preparing for events and functions at all tennis facilities.
Empty trash from courts.
Collect and store left/lost items.
Clean chairs and benches.
Check the timer for watering.
Clean the garage frequently.
Report any mechanical or structural issues with facilities to the Director of Tennis or Supervisor promptly.
Follow the seasonal grooming schedule as directed by the Director of Tennis or Supervisor.
Assist at pickleball and basketball courts during slow times, events, or when short-staffed.
Operate and maintain the tennis cart roller, including checking tires and water levels, and keeping it clean and in good working condition.
Operate and maintain the leaf blower, ensuring it is in good operating condition, cleaning it often, using ear protection, and maintaining the correct gas/oil mix.
Manage litter by blowing, sweeping, and using a dustpan on walks and parking lots as needed.
Keep trash covers and holders clean.
Remove trash from cans as needed.
Perform pressure washing of walks and hard courts as needed.
Hang and clean windscreens.
Clean water fountains/coolers.
Clean shade structures.
Use firepower on ant hills.
